Séminaire de Fabian Grusdt (LMU München), le vendredi 6 décembre 2024 à 11h00 dans l'Auditorium de l'Institut d'Optique Graduate School à Palaiseau, sur le thème : "Quantum simulation of doped antiferromagnets: A stripy road ahead."

Résumé : "Recent advances in quantum simulation allow for unprecedented microscopic studies of strongly correlated quantum matter. This involves a range of experimental platforms, from Rydberg tweezer arrays, superconducting qubits to quantum gas microscopes. This talk will focus on a long-standing goal of the field: The study of doped Hubbard models featuring itinerant antiferromagnetism. We start by providing an overview what has already been achieved and move on to discuss the road ahead: This involves the study of hidden order, fluctuating stripes and bosonic versions of doped antiferromagnets. Specifically, we present a newly proposed theory of the pseudogap phase in cuprate superconductors that can be tested using ultracold atom experiments; We further discuss the phase diagram of the bosonic antiferromagnetic t-J model, which we also predict to feature stripe phases akin to their fermionic cousins."
